Our History

The Wuxi Oriental International School was established in the Wuxi New District by the Wuxi government in 2002 to provide a quality education to the children of foreigners living in Wuxi and surrounding areas. In 2006 Leadership Development International, an American company, was asked to take over management of the school resulting in the establishment of the International School of Wuxi which began classes in August of 2007.

The International School of Wuxi was set up to provide a North American educational program for the children of expatriates. Classes began in August of 2007 in the former Wuxi Oriental International School building on XiShi Road in Wuxi's New District.
